Overhaul and repair maintenance vehicles, mowing equipment and other power equipment. Lubricate and service all equipment. Inspect equipment for operating deficiencies and make routine adjustments where necessary. Maintain up-to-date understanding of hydraulic systems, repairs and their components. Inspect, change and repair tires. Assist in controlling tool access and use by maintenance staff. Clean working areas after repair work is completed. Assist in fabricating, body repair and painting. Adjust cutting units on mowing equipment. Assist on the maintenance crew and operate mowing equipment when servicing is complete. Assist in training the maintenance staff in the proper care and upkeep of the golf course equipment. Operate or train to operate various types of maintenance equipment as needed. Incorporate safe work practices in job performance. Perform other duties as required. Certificate from college or technical school. Must have 2+ years of experience with small engine repairs and maintenance. Must have a valid driver's license. Must be a quick learner and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
