Job Opportunity in Cantonment, FL Join our team in Cantonment, FL, where you will play a vital role in maintaining the efficiency and safety of our facilities. We are looking for dedicated individuals to help us keep our operations running smoothly at the Citizens Convenience Centers. If you are passionate about making a difference in the community and enjoy hands-on work, this position is perfect for you! Job Responsibilities
Perform routine preventive maintenance on facilities, tools, and equipment.
Identify and repair minor issues related to facilities and equipment.
Operate specialized tools and equipment for repair and maintenance activities.
Prepare and maintain logs and records of daily activities.
Install equipment and fixtures, disassemble and reassemble for maintenance.
Monitor and manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment.
Inspect, clean, and maintain County vehicles.
Perform other related duties as needed.
Additional Responsibilities for Parks and Recreation
Set up and tear down events.
Operate lawn maintenance equipment.
Clean, sanitize, and stock restrooms.
Perform strenuous manual labor and safety checks.
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
Valid driver's license from state of residence.
Preferences
Up to one year of experience in a related field.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Proficiency with applicable tools and equipment.
Understanding of general maintenance principles and safety precautions.
Ability to operate machinery and maintain records.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Physical and Emergency Management Requirements
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting over 100 pounds.
Willingness to work in various environmental conditions.
