Public Works or Utilities:
One (1) year of experience in the maintenance and repair of utilities, stormwater or transportation infrastructure. Licenses or Certifications If assigned to
Public Works or Utilities:
Intermediate Maintenance of Traffic/Temporary Traffic Control certification within six (6) months of hire or promotion. Key Responsibilities Inventories daily equipment and materials and stocks appropriate supplies in assigned City vehicle(s) per work orders, i.e., traffic control devices, plumbing supplies, and tools. Prepares assigned City vehicle(s) daily, i.e., checking oil, fuel, brakes, and lights. Ensures the safe and effective operating condition of vehicles and equipment by inspecting work order materials for defects, malfunctioning, or otherwise substandard conditions. Notifies supervisor of concerns. Utilizes various manual, gas, and hand-held electrical tools and equipment to perform assigned tasks. Performs other related duties as required.
