Job Description

Are you highly organized, responsible, proactive, and great at keeping people, schedules, and priorities on track? We're a growing Central Florida property management company looking for a Property Management Assistant - Maintenance Coordinator to help keep our properties and maintenance operations organized, efficient, and moving forward. This is a hands-on coordination role-not just data entry. You'll work closely with our Field Maintenance Supervisor, technicians, residents, vendors, and suppliers to make sure maintenance requests are properly scheduled, followed up on, documented, and completed.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Manage and track maintenance Work Orders from request through completion Coordinate technician schedules, appointments, property access, and daily logistics Dispatch maintenance requests with the Field Maintenance Supervisor Follow up on pending and delayed Work Orders—nothing should fall through the cracks Communicate with residents regarding appointments and repair status Coordinate vendors, contractors, parts, materials, and approved purchases Identify scheduling conflicts, delays, and missing materials before they become problems Maintain accurate invoices, receipts, photos, vendor records, and maintenance documentation Assist with reports and Section 8 documentation when needed Escalate emergencies and issues requiring management decisions Help improve scheduling, organization, workflow, and efficiency
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Previous property management experience is
REQUIRED
Bilingual English/Spanish is
REQUIRED
Responsible, dependable, and takes ownership of their work Extremely organized and detail-oriented Proactive and solution-focused—you anticipate what needs to happen next Strong follow-up skills and committed to seeing tasks through to completion Excellent communication and coordination skills Comfortable managing multiple priorities and changing schedules Computer proficient and comfortable with email, spreadsheets, and Work Order systems Able to work independently and know when to escalate an issue Takes pride in their work and understands that follow-through matters Experience with property management, maintenance coordination, dispatch, facilities, construction, logistics, or service operations is a strong plus.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
$20-$22 per hour Full-time, Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM Celebration, FL Paid time off and sick leave One week vacation after one year Holiday and birthday bonus incentives Friday lunch provided at the office
