Responsible for Yard maintenance - keep all areas of the yard clean of debris, obstacles, materials and supplies to create a safe, clean work environment. Parking lot maintenance- clean and maintain a safe parking lot and outlying property Move and arrange equipment and machines as necessary to create an organized and safe lot Wash incoming equipment & function test equipment Ensure that all rental equipment is properly tagged and has the required key Handles yard check-ins and check-outs Verify the receipt of equipment and machines delivered to the stores Compare serial numbers of incoming equipment and machines against the bill of lading or other documentation Inspect equipment and machines for damage Pick up equipment and machines to/from customers by management Start equipment and machines, as directed, daily and reporting any problems or concerns Pick up parts from the parts department Positioning and retrieving equipment on the location's property Will have experience and training to operate equipment safely and efficiently as needed, (e.g. Forklift) Perform general laboring duties as assigned and when necessary, as instructed by supervisor.
