Duties Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical equipment, and building interior components to ensure optimal operation. Conduct repairs using hand tools, welding techniques, and electrical equipment repair skills to resolve issues promptly. Maintain facilities equipment including HVAC systems, plumbing systems, electrical panels, and mechanical devices by troubleshooting and repairing as needed. Assist with carpentry tasks such as maintenance painting, building interior repairs, and structural adjustments to support facility aesthetics and safety. Read schematics and technical diagrams to accurately diagnose problems with electrical or mechanical systems. Supervise or assist with maintenance projects, ensuring safety protocols are followed and work is completed efficiently. Support customer service efforts by responding promptly to maintenance requests from staff or residents, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and care. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in facilities maintenance and repair operations (MRO). Proficiency in electrical work including electrical equipment repair, HVAC system repair, plumbing system maintenance, and troubleshooting using tools like ohmmeters. Skilled in welding, carpentry, painting (including residential painting), and use of hand tools for various repair tasks. Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams related to electrical systems, HVAC units, plumbing layouts, and building interior infrastructure. Experience supervising or leading maintenance teams with demonstrated leadership skills. Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and effective customer service interactions.
