Rite of Passage Team is hiring for a Facility Maintenance Worker with HVAC Certification @ Tampa Bay Girls Academy in Tampa, Florida ✨ Tampa Bay Girls Academy (TBGA)

•A secure Facility comprised of multiple co-located residential commitment programs serving high-risk and max-risk female youth aged 12-21. These programs provide services utilizing evidence-based practices to provide comprehensive care, treatment, and supervision. Youth will also receive psychotherapeutic services, including individual, family, and group counseling.

Pay Range:

$48K

•$53K based on certification & experience.

ROP-benefits-and-perks-2 (https://riteofpassage.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/ROP-benefits-perks-2024-v2.pdf) What you will do : The Facility Maintenance Worker performs work orders such as general building maintenance, HVAC maintenance, changing light bulbs, minor electrical repairs, repairing drywall, painting, sheetrock, adjusting locks and hardware, minor plumbing repairs, unplugging drains, relighting, maintaining smoke detectors, emergency lights, grounds maintenance, etc. Maintains the Facility vehicle fleet. Completes required reports and documentation on time. To be considered, you must meet the following requirements: Possess a High School Diploma or GED. A valid HVAC certification is required. Prior building maintenance experience preferred. Must possess a valid state driver's license and have an acceptable driving record for the past (3) years. Ability to pass a criminal background clearance check, drug screen, physical, and TB test. Ability to prepare written reports and correspondence. Must have excellent organization and time management skills. Ability to work at least 40 hours per week and a designated schedule, with the possibility of a varied schedule.
