Job Description
Job Summary The Facilities & Janitorial Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and overall readiness of the community clubhouse and amenity areas. This position helps ensure residents and guests enjoy a clean, safe, and welcoming environment throughout the clubhouse, café, fitness center, meeting rooms, event spaces, resort-style pool area, and park facilities. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, pays attention to detail, and enjoys contributing to an exceptional resident experience.
Schedule:
Monday - Friday (some weekends) Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of the clubhouse, restrooms, fitness center, meeting rooms, and common areas. Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and maintain floors and surfaces throughout the facility. Empty trash and recycling containers and replenish restroom and cleaning supplies. Clean windows, doors, furniture, and high-touch surfaces to maintain a professional appearance. Assist with the setup and breakdown of meeting rooms and private event spaces. Maintain cleanliness of pool decks, outdoor furniture, park areas, and other recreational spaces. Collect debris and litter and ensure outdoor amenities remain neat and inviting. Report safety hazards, maintenance concerns, or damaged equipment to management. Conduct routine inspections of amenity spaces and notify management of needed repairs or supply shortages. Assist with opening and closing procedures for clubhouse facilities. Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in an organized and safe manner. Support community events and special activities by preparing and restoring event spaces. Provide courteous and professional interactions with residents, guests, vendors, and fellow associates. Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous janitorial, housekeeping, facilities, or maintenance experience preferred.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety.
- Dependable with a positive attitude and customer service mindset.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed. Physical Requirements
- Frequently stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and climb stairs.
- Regularly lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
- Use cleaning equipment, tools, and chemicals in accordance with safety guidelines.
- Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions and temperatures.
- Perform repetitive motions and remain active throughout the workday.
