Job Description
Argus Management of Venice, Inc. is seeking a handyman for a condominium association in Venice, FL with a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in Irrigation systems, carpentry, construction, and/or general maintenance work. Maintenance man is responsible for performing general maintenance of buildings and grounds. Duties Include
- Minor repairs to buildings
- Perform basic community association upkeep weekly
- Blowing down property, picking up trash around property, light plumbing repair and completing work orders assigned.
- Perform preventive maintenance and routine maintenance, janitorial and grounds work throughout community.
- Maintain pool furniture and bathrooms
- Doing periodic inspections of grounds area and building and structures advising condo association of needed repairs and safety issues.
- Maintain excellent relations with owners/residents through fast, well done, efficient work completion. Qualifications
- 3-5 years of maintenance experience
- Excellent people skills
- Must have valid driver's license, proof of current insurance and vehicle registration.
- Must know how to use tools, supplies, materials, chemicals in a manner that does not endanger self, other employees, residents, the environment or the public in general.
- Experience and skills with simple electric maintenance, irrigation maintenance and minor building repairs Physical Requirements
- Must be able to lift and carry at least 50 pounds, carry ladders, and climb stairs throughout the work day.
