Presbyterian Homes of Georgia is currently seeking a qualified individual to serve as a Maintenance Worker , which will help support the Maintenance functions for the entire Presbyterian Village Athens campus. Life Plan Communities:
Presbyterian Village in Austell and Presbyterian Home and Retirement Community in Quitman. Presbyterian Village Athens is our third Life Plan Community and, like its predecessors, offers a full spectrum of health care that includes Independent Living Residences, Assisted Living, Memory Support, Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Services. Three additional communities, Calvin Court in Atlanta's Buckhead neighborhood, Philips Tower in Decatur and Swainsboro Presbyterian Apartments in Swainsboro offer comfortable, affordable apartment living for active seniors. In addition to our exceptional communities, our commitment to quality care sets us apart. Never in our history has a resident been asked to leave because of outliving his or her financial means. This position will provide general maintenance functions for the campus - so that that all facility buildings, systems, equipment, etc. are serviced and maintained in order to provide high quality services to our residents and their families at all times in a safe and efficient environment. The ideal applicants should have the following minimum qualifications: Proven experience in general maintenance work Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices Knowledge and experience in basic plumbing and electrical work is preferred Experience with Preventive Maintenance systems and software is a plus Previous experience of maintenance in healthcare facilities, hospitals, hotels or similar facilities is strong preferred. Strong problem-solving skills. High school diploma or equivalent. A strong focus on Customer Service. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to relate, communicate and interact with the Senior Adult population.
