Pay:
[13.00 ] 15.00: [Full-time or part-time must work weekend. Best Western Plus is seeking a dependable, hands-on Maintenance Technician to help keep our hotel safe, comfortable, and in good working condition. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, communicates well, and responds promptly to maintenance needs. Responsibilities Complete maintenance and repairs in guest rooms and common areas. Troubleshoot basic plumbing, lighting, heating, and air-conditioning issues within your training. Repair fixtures, doors, furniture, and other hotel equipment. Perform painting, patching, and general upkeep. Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance. Respond professionally to guest and staff maintenance requests. Keep tools, supplies, and work areas organized. Report major repairs and safety concerns to management. Follow safety procedures and coordinate with qualified contractors when needed. Qualifications Previous hotel, apartment, building maintenance, or related repair experience preferred. Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Reliable attendance and the ability to work independently. Professional, respectful attitude toward guests and coworkers. Ability to perform essential duties, including standing, bending, using tools, and moving supplies, with or without reasonable accommodation.
