Maintenace Park Ranger Position Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Park Ranger to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all visitors. This role combines hands-on maintenance work with guest interaction, making it ideal for someone who enjoys both outdoor labor and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform general campground maintenance, including routine upkeep of facilities and grounds Operate equipment for grass cutting and weed eating to maintain landscaped areas Conduct light plumbing and electrical repairs as needed Clean and maintain restrooms, campsites, and common areas to ensure a high standard of cleanliness Assist with parking coordination during busy periods and events Provide excellent guest relations by greeting visitors, answering questions, and offering information about the campground and surrounding area Monitor campground activity to ensure rules and safety guidelines are followed Work a flexible schedule, including weekends and occasional holidays

Qualifications:

Basic knowledge of maintenance tasks, including lawn care, plumbing, and electrical work Ability to operate lawn equipment safely and efficiently Strong communication and interpersonal skills Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team Previous experience in maintenance, parks, or hospitality is a plus

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment and supplies Capable of standing, walking, bending, and working outdoors for extended periods

Work Environment:

This position is primarily outdoors in a campground setting and requires interaction with the public, as well as routine physical labor. We would love to have you join the team at Moccasin Creek State Park!!

Pay:

From $13.00 per hour Expected hours: No more than 29.0 per week
