Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing maintenance and repair tasks across various facilities, ensuring that all equipment and systems operate efficiently and safely. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively. Responsibilities Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of equipment and facilities to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues as they arise. Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for system diagnostics and repairs. Perform welding tasks as needed for equipment repairs or modifications. Interpret schematics to understand system layouts and troubleshoot problems effectively. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). Oversee facilities maintenance projects, ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns promptly and professionally. Assist in supervising junior maintenance staff, providing guidance and leadership as necessary. Carry out residential painting tasks to maintain aesthetic standards of facilities. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in facilities maintenance. Proficient in electrical systems with hands-on experience troubleshooting electrical issues. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is highly desirable. Welding skills are a plus for performing necessary repairs. Ability to read and interpret schematics for effective problem-solving. Experience in manufacturing environments is beneficial. Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with clients and team members. Leadership experience preferred for supervising maintenance staff effectively. Proficiency in using an ohmmeter and other diagnostic tools for troubleshooting purposes. Fluency in English is required for effective communication within the team.
