Seasonal Maintenance Worker (COOKIE-806) #HILO_INDEED A local company is seeking a Maintenance Worker to join their team and perform a variety of basic tasks in carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and building/grounds maintenance. This position may require weekend and evening work due to operational needs. Apply today for immediate consideration! Hours Full-time, Monday to Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm (possible weekends) Location Hilo, Big Island Pay $18 to $20 an hour Responsibilities Repair office and factory cabinets, desks, tables, etc. Use a variety of hand tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, shovel, pick, etc. Use a variety of power tools such as leaf blower, lawn mower, power washer, etc. Trim hedges, mow lawn, and fertilize plants. Operate forklift. Perform general maintenance tasks such as painting, mudding, AC filter changes, light replacements, floor repairs, etc. Work safely and professionally with a positive attitude. Able to follow all protocols. Work cohesively within a team and independently as required. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Familiarity using various landscaping equipment and tools. Must have a valid driver's license. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Ability to lift 50lbs. Must have a TB clearance. Must be able to comply with a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
