Essential Functions for the

Position:

Under direction of the section supervisor and/or an individual of a higher classification, performs custodial work, facility and grounds maintenance. Performs all other duties as assigned.

Special Knowledge & Skills:

1. Must have a basic understanding of the janitorial trade and the special products utilize in the trade. 2. Must be familiar with facility and grounds maintenance. 3. Must be familiar with forklift operation and safety. 4. Must have basic

OSHA/EPA

awareness; and must be familiar with current safety equipment and procedures. 5. Mechanical aptitude preferred. 6. Must be capable of understanding written as well as verbal work orders.

Education, Training & Experience:

1. Must be high school graduate. 2. Two (2) years' experience in the janitorial and/or facility maintenance field preferred.

Other Job Requirement & Conditions:

1. Must have excellent work performance and attendance records. 2. Must pass Company administered written and oral examinations. 3. Must be able to meet standard physical requirements of position and pass Company sponsored physical examination and drug screening. 4. Must be willing and able to work various shifts, overtime as directed, holiday duty as required, and assume days off as assigned. 5. Must have valid Hawaii State driver's license with clean traffic abstract.
