$45.00 per hr. Applicants will be notified via email or phone within ten business days regarding application status. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Responsible for performing general maintenance, minor preventive maintenance and repair of interior and exterior of buildings, sanitation systems, low voltage electrical systems, and components associated with military family housing and bachelor's quarters facilities, at various locations. Maintains, repairs, and replaces doors, woodwork, paneling, drywall, and floor coverings. Replace electrical receptacles, wires, switches, fixtures, and motors. Works from blueprints, drawings, models, or verbal and written instructions. Performs occasional painting or touching up of structures or equipment. Performs minor preventive maintenance actions, including but not limited to changing air filters, lubricating fittings or components, performing inspections and taking readings. Repairs or replaces plumbing fixtures such as sinks, faucets, and toilets. Replaces broken windows. Provides daily reports of task performed at the end of the workday. Follows established safety procedures and utilizes safety protective equipment and clothing that pertains to particular trades or skills. Ensures proper housekeeping practices are observed. Performs other related work as assigned. Required (Minimum Necessary)Qualifications Education Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED Four (4) years' experience in one or more of the following construction trades: painting, carpentry, plumbing, masonry, or electrical. Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently. Possession of valid driver's License with acceptable driving record pertinent to the position. Ability to obtain access to U.S. Government Installations through the Defense Biometric Identification System (DBIDS). Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics Knowledge of organizational procedures and workflows- understanding how work moves through a company. Basic knowledge of relevant technologies or tools
- e.g., Microsoft 365, communication platforms, or industry‑standard software. Knowledge of customer service practices
