Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handy Man to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse range of maintenance and repair skills, demonstrating proficiency in various tasks including electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance person services. This role requires a proactive individual who can work independently, safely and efficiently to address basic maintenance issues in residential and commercial properties. Duties Perform routine maintenance tasks such as painting, drywall repair, and fixture installation. Conduct minor electrical repairs and installations, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Handle plumbing repairs including leaky faucets, clogged drains, and toilet issues. Utilize tools such as an Ohmmeter for electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting. Respond promptly to service requests and complete work within specified timeframes. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and materials are stored properly. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional service. Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used for each job. Requirements Proven experience as a Handy Man or in a similar role with a strong skill set in maintenance and repair tasks. Minimum of 5 years exp. with references. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment including an Ohmmeter. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot various issues effectively. Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team when required. A valid driver's license is required for travel between job sites. Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks, including lifting heavy objects when necessary. Ability to follow workflow processes and client job requirements.
