Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Maintenance Worker to join our team and help keep our facilities in top condition. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance tasks to ensure the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of our property. Your proactive approach and hands-on skills will contribute to creating a welcoming environment for staff, visitors, and clients alike. This position offers an exciting opportunity to engage in diverse maintenance activities that keep our grounds and infrastructure in excellent shape. Shift Requirements & Hours 4-11 p.m. 2-3 weekdays 2 weekends a month (Saturday and Sunday) Wage Starting at $12, goes up to $12.50 after 60-90 days depending on performance and training requirements are met PTO- Acquires as you work after 90 days of employment. Use your PTO towards approved days off. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on guest rooms such as painting, cosmetic fixes, small repairs that accrue after guests leave. Clean HVAC units, unclog drains, toilets, and learn how to do other more in depth fixes with in person training. Conduct landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, lawn care, tree trimming, landscaping, and gardening to maintain attractive outdoor spaces. Operate hand tools, power tools Maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of lawns and gardens. Carry out snow plowing and de-icing during winter months to keep pathways safe and accessible. Skills Experience with lawn care, landscape maintenance, and gardening practices is a plus. Ability to perform general maintenance duties efficiently while adhering to safety standards. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a proactive attitude toward facility upkeep.
