This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in hands-on work and maintaining a safe, functional environment. The Maintenance Assistant will work closely with the maintenance team to perform routine tasks and assist with repairs, ensuring our premises remain in optimal condition.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with routine maintenance tasks, including repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance Support the maintenance team in troubleshooting and resolving equipment or facility issues Perform basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and painting tasks as needed Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance storage areas and tools Document maintenance activities and report any safety hazards or urgent repairs Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with company policies
Skills and Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent Basic knowledge of maintenance procedures and tools Ability to perform physical tasks and lift heavy objects Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team Prior experience in maintenance or facilities management is a plus but not required
