Full Job Description Maintenance Aide Job Summary:
Join the Serenity Estates of Morris team and contribute to the provision of exceptional care to our residents by serving as a Maintenance Aide. As a valued member of our team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of our facilities, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for our residents.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine cleaning and janitorial duties, including sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting floors, as well as cleaning bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas Assist with laundry and housekeeping tasks, such as changing linens and restocking supplies Maintain the overall appearance and cleanliness of our facilities, including the exterior and interior spaces Support the maintenance team with task completion, such as fixing leaky faucets, unclogging drains, and performing minor repairs Assist residents with mobility and daily living tasks, as needed Establish and maintain effective relationships with residents, families, and staff members
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods Excellent communication and teamwork skills Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays Basic knowledge of cleaning and maintenance procedures
