Job Description
Maintenance Director Job Summary:
We're seeking a dedicated and innovative Maintenance Director to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the overall maintenance and upkeep of our senior living community. We're looking for a motivated and organized individual who is passionate about providing a safe and comfortable environment for our residents.Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain the physical plant, including but not limited to, HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and carpentry. Conduct regular inspections and assessments of the community to identify and address maintenance needs and concerns. Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to extend the life of our equipment and facilities. Oversee and participate in routine repairs, renovations, and capital projects. Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance efforts and ensure seamless operations. Develop and manage budgets and schedules for maintenance and repair projects. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, codes, and standards.Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required; trade school or associate's degree in a related field preferred. Minimum 1-2 years of experience in maintenance or a related field; experience in senior living or healthcare industry a plus. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and carpentry. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.What We Offer:
