AM Position Overview:

Join a state-of-the-art, 680,000 sq. ft. e-commerce distribution center supporting one of the nation's leading home furnishings retailers. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start or grow a career in industrial maintenance and automation. You'll work alongside experienced Maintenance and Automation Technicians, learning to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair conveyor systems and automated material handling equipment.

Responsibilities:

Assist with preventive maintenance on conveyors and automated equipment. Learn to troubleshoot mechanical and basic electrical issues. Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Support repairs on motors, rollers, bearings, belts, chains, and conveyor components. Read and follow electrical diagrams, equipment manuals, and work instructions. Keep accurate maintenance records and complete assigned work orders. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area. Follow all company safety procedures and preventative maintenance schedules.

Qualifications:

6 months to 1 year of maintenance, mechanic helper, machine operator, or manufacturing maintenance experience. Experience using hand tools and power tools. Mechanical aptitude with a willingness to learn industrial maintenance. Ability to read or learn basic electrical schematics and diagrams. Comfortable working around conveyor systems, machinery, and automated equipment. Reliable attendance and strong work ethic. High School Diploma or GED preferred.
