Maintenance Asst. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Maintenance Asst. at Abbington Village Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Roselle, Illinois. About the
Role:
As a Maintenance Asst., you will play a critical role in ensuring repairs are made timely under the direction of the maintenance Director. Additionally, responsible for painting throughout the facility. Completes all assignments scheduled in each unit Gives an assigned unit the attention needed to provide a sanitary, odor-free, and orderly environment for all concerns Checks stock and notifies supervisor of supply needs Maintains equipment in good working condition and returns it to proper location after use
Requirements:
High school degree or equivalent is preferred Must be able to read, write, and understand the English language Good physical condition Working knowledge of standard materials Knowledge of techniques and equipment used in cleaning activities Knowledge of cleaning materials and reason for their use Ability to follow oral and written instructions Ability to positively interact with personnel, customers, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public Provide annual verification of a negative TB skin test
Performs Related Duties:
Interact with customers, families, visitors, center and Care Center Facility subsidiary personnel Carry out other tasks as requested in situations where hands-on intervention/participation may be required
