United Prairie is central Illinois Ag retail leader with 13 lcoations and over 150 employees. United Prairie is a growing company that offers opportunity for career and personal growth. All United Prairie employees are required to pass a preemployment drug screen/physical and be part of a random drug screening pool to fulfill FMCA requirements along with a background check. Listed below are some of those duties and responsibilities. 1. Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot floater applicators, post machines and tender trucks. 2. Perform maintenance on NH3 equipment to provide outstanding equipment to our customers. 3. Assist in any facility maintenance and repairs that need to be performed. 4. Assist in material handling such as unloading railcars of various fertilizers. 5. Must be able to work cooperatively with other employees to make a cohesive team environment. 6. Ability to perform tasks and duties assigned without constant supervision. 7. Perform any other required tasks from the location manager or upper management.
