If you are hard-working and enjoy challenges this job is for you. This job requires outdoor work. You need to be able to locate residences and other equipment in the field. You will work in four counties maintaining water lines, installing meters, locate Julies, work with maintaining valves and fire hydrants, collect monthly and quarterly water samples, work with clients, engineers, and other water facilities, lock meters, unlock meters, program radios, scada, online mapping, work independently, and maintain shop area and equipment. Applications will be excepted until August 5, 2026 . You may drop off your application at the following address: 620 County Highway 12 Wayne City or you may mail resume to P.O. Box 336 Wayne City, IL. Starting pay $20-$25 hourly (Depending on Experience) Salary increases based on license established IRA Holiday Pay Vacation, Personal, and Sick Days Benefits included Ideal candidate will possess the following: Valid driver's license HS Diploma or equivalent Ability to lift approximately 75 pounds Computer skills Ability to work outside in varying weather/driving conditions On call every other week and weekend
