Job Description
Two positions 1. The Afternoon-Evening Shift Maintenance (PM Maintenance) person works Tuesday through Saturday 3p - 11:30p and reports to the Project Manager. This is a 40 hour a week position. The PM Maintenance person works for the Wheaton Franciscan Sisters Corporation, with responsibilities that provide services to Marianjoy Rehabilitation Hospital located on the campus. The PM Maintenance person is responsible for maintaining buildings and related equipment, creating a pleasant and comfortable physical environment for Sister residents, patients, employees and visitors. 2. Also looking to hire a Part Time Day Shift Maintenance person to work 7a to 3:30p Monday, Thursday, and Friday. This is a 24 hour a week shift. Carpentry experience required including drywall, furniture repairs, locks, construction, general repairs and other remodeling projects. Experienced in basic plumbing services including repairs/flushing water systems, etc. Able to perform basic electrical work; troubleshoot simple circuitry using voltage testers, Amp probe and volt/ohm meter. Performs general preventative maintenance. Provides excellent customer service with the ability to use various types of mobile devices, e.g., iPhones, iPads, computers including communication by means of (2-way radio, e-mail, face-to-face); responds to hospital codes; tests and repairs patient's beds; patient's and Sister's TVs; troubleshoots call systems, doors and closures. Provides services at Sisters residences as requested. Excellent written communication skills for preparing weekly work reports that provide details of tasks performed with accuracy and consistency. Must be licensed to drive company vehicles. Follows safety and departmental procedures.
