Responsibilities Safely operate various types of vehicles, including commercial trucks and automobiles, adhering strictly to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and safe lifting practices. Plan and execute efficient delivery routes, ensuring timely arrivals at multiple customer locations. Communicate clearly with clients to confirm deliveries, answer questions, and build positive relationships. Handle heavy lifting and merchandise merchandising tasks with proper safety techniques to prevent injury. Upsell additional products or services when appropriate, enhancing customer satisfaction and sales performance. Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and inventory records while organizing daily schedules effectively. Conduct routine vehicle inspections, report maintenance needs promptly, and ensure vehicles are kept in optimal condition. Experience Proven experience in commercial driving or delivery roles, preferably within retail or wholesale environments. Familiarity with pricing strategies, sales techniques, and customer relationship building is highly desirable. Strong math skills for calculating deliveries, pricing adjustments, and basic financial transactions. Knowledge of automobile transportation regulations and DOT compliance requirements. Excellent communication skills for client interaction, route coordination, and team collaboration. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and follow organizational procedures diligently. Prior experience in retail store environments or merchandising is a plus but not required; training will be provided for specific tasks.
