Overview Join our dynamic maintenance team as a Maintenance Worker and play a vital role in ensuring the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of our outdoor spaces and facilities. This energetic position offers the opportunity to work with a variety of tools and equipment, from hand tools to excavators, while engaging in diverse tasks such as landscape maintenance, lawn care, snow plowing, and general repairs. Responsibilities Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, tree trimming, pruning, and planting to keep outdoor areas vibrant and healthy. Operate power tools, hand tools, and heavy machinery such as excavators for construction, landscaping, or hardscape projects. Conduct lawn care activities like aeration, fertilization, watering, and weed control to promote lush greenery. Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting, repairing, and adjusting sprinklers to ensure proper watering schedules. Execute snow plowing operations during winter months to keep pathways clear and safe for pedestrians and vehicles. Support tree care activities including planting new trees, trimming branches, and removing hazards safely. Assist with general maintenance tasks such as repairing fences, benches, or other outdoor structures to uphold safety standards. Requirements Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with experience operating landscaping equipment and hand tools. Familiarity with lawn care practices, landscape maintenance techniques, and horticulture principles. Ability to operate heavy machinery such as excavators or similar construction equipment safely and efficiently. Knowledge of irrigation systems, snow plowing procedures, tree care practices, and gardening techniques. Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions. Excellent attention to detail combined with a proactive approach to maintenance tasks. Prior experience in landscaping, hardscape installation or repair work is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
