Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and versatile Maintenance Worker, including Ground Keeping, to join our dynamic facilities team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of our buildings and outdoor spaces. Your expertise will ensure that all facilities operate smoothly, creating a comfortable environment for staff and visitors alike. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and groundskeeping skills in a fast-paced setting. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help us uphold high standards of maintenance and customer service. We have multi buildings and over 20 acres to maintain. Duties Maintain building interiors through painting, carpentry repairs, drywall work, and other general maintenance tasks to keep spaces inviting and functional. Oversee groundskeeping activities such as lawn care, landscaping, snow removal, trash collection, and outdoor safety checks to enhance curb appeal and safety. Supervise or assist with small projects or renovations while ensuring compliance with safety standards and building codes. Act as personal assistant for 70 year old property owner who has limited physical abilities Operate mowers, tractor, backhoe and trucks Skills Strong carpentry skills for repairs involving framing, drywall installation, painting (including residential painting), and other woodworking tasks. Experience with maintenance, repair & operations (MRO) practices using hand tools and power tools effectively. Ability to operate various equipment safely including, lawnmowers, snow plows, etc. Excellent communication skills in English for clear reporting and customer interaction Join us if you're passionate about keeping facilities safe, efficient, and visually appealing!
