Location This position is located at 11681 State Ave, Kansas City, Kansas, 66111 United States Role Summary The Facilities Support Technician is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and organized facility. This role partners closely with operations and maintenance teams to support daily cleanliness and assist with facility upkeep. Success in this role requires dependability, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn and grow within the maintenance function.
Schedule:
Sunday - Wednesday (7:00am - 5:30pm) Role Responsibilities Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of common areas, including floors, walkways, stairs, and employee spaces Operate cleaning equipment (e.g., floor sweepers, scrubbers) as needed Clean and restock facility supplies (trash receptacles, paper products, soap, sanitizers) Support upkeep of employee areas such as lockers, timeclocks, and break spaces Partner with internal teams and external housekeeping vendors to ensure facility standards are met Assist Maintenance team during scheduled shutdowns and special projects Take on additional tasks and cross-training opportunities to support team and departmental growth Role Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Comprehend and follow work instructions to meet productivity and quality standards Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills Reliable attendance with flexibility for overtime as needed Ability to expand responsibilities and grow within the maintenance department over time. Physical Requirements Stand and walk throughout a shift Climb, balance, kneel, crouch, or crawl for extended periods Reach, pull, push, and lift freight and other objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights up to 50 pounds Operate warehouse equipment safely as required for the position (i.e. pallet jack, box cutter, carts) which requires coordinated movements Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. #INHIGH The Perks URBN offers comprehensive Perks & Benefits to employees.
