This is a hands-on role focused on general facility upkeep, routine preventative maintenance, and supporting our maintenance and production teams with day-to-day needs. What You'll Do Perform routine facility inspections and basic preventative maintenance activities. Assist maintenance technicians with projects, repairs, and other maintenance activities as needed. Complete daily checks of CNC equipment and report maintenance concerns. Collect and process cardboard and plastic through facility balers. Empty and process CNC machining chip bins. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized facility through routine housekeeping and 5S activities. Collect and dispose of trash from production and maintenance areas. Clean and maintain time clock kiosks, computers, scanners, tables, shelving, and other facility equipment. Safely move equipment and materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other material-handling equipment. Use basic hand and power tools for routine facility maintenance tasks. Assist production and other departments with facility and operational needs as required. What You'll Bring High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in facilities, maintenance, manufacturing, or industrial support preferred. General mechanical aptitude and comfort using basic hand and power tools. Experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks preferred. Ability to recognize and report equipment or facility maintenance concerns. Willingness to learn and take on a variety of responsibilities. Physical Requirements This position is performed in a temperature-controlled manufacturing environment and requires frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and lifting throughout the workday. The successful candidate must be able to safely lift up to 50 pounds and operate material-handling equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks. Regular exposure to manufacturing conditions and industrial materials, including diesel fuel, mineral spirits, paint, adhesives, sealants, and similar materials, should be expected.
