Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facilities maintenance and mechanical knowledge, with the ability to perform various maintenance tasks efficiently. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to providing excellent customer service. The Maintenance Person will be responsible for ensuring that all facilities are well-maintained, safe, and functional. Responsibilities Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment to identify issues or needed repairs. Responsibilities include maintenance of buildings and grounds, potable wells, distribution system, waste water plant and collection system Operate tools such as ohmmeters and interpret schematics for effective repairs. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory of supplies. Implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend the life of equipment. Requirements Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems effectively. Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, for clear communication with team members and customers. high school diploma, and ability to obtain Certification as a Class II Water Supply System Operator within 2 years, and Class II Waste Water Plant Operator within 3 years, lab certified for PH. Familiarity with operating tools such as ohmmeters and reading schematics is advantageous. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong problem-solving abilities.
