Why you'll love working here meaningful work that supports residents every day stable nonprofit organization with a long-standing reputation for excellence collaborative, team-oriented work environment opportunity to work on a variety of maintenance projects educational and professional development opportunities What you'll do complete maintenance requests for apartments, buildings, equipment and community grounds in a timely manner perform preventive maintenance on building systems and equipment troubleshoot and complete routine plumbing, electrical, mechanical and HVAC repairs inspect equipment and report maintenance concerns to the Maintenance Supervisor assist with fire safety, emergency preparedness and disaster response procedures provide outstanding customer service by responding promptly and professionally to resident service requests assist with general grounds maintenance and housekeeping projects as needed maintain a safe, clean and organized work environment work both indoors and outdoors in a variety of weather conditions support special maintenance projects and other duties as assigned What you'll bring high school diploma or GED experience in building maintenance, facilities maintenance or a related trade preferred working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, mechanical systems and general building repairs understanding of preventive maintenance practices and life safety codes strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills ability to communicate professionally with residents, families and team members customer-focused attitude with a commitment to exceptional service valid driver's license with a clean driving record ability to work independently and as part of a team successful completion of pre-screening hiring requirements About Masonic Homes Kentucky Masonic Homes Kentucky is a trusted leader in senior living and health services, providing compassionate care and innovative programs that enrich the lives of older adults.
