Responsibilities include:
Coordinates and performs general maintenance and various janitorial duties in the upkeep of buildings, grounds and associated equipment; and performs other duties as assigned. Coordinates and plans the maintenance services of buildings, grounds, and associated equipment in accordance with Kentucky Department of Education (KDE) standards. Coordinates with supervisors and facility managers to prioritize work orders and allocate resources efficiently. Performs carpentry repairs to buildings and equipment. Performs painting on buildings and equipment. Makes routine plumbing repairs, sewage systems, and electrical repairs on equipment. Operates machinery and equipment in the mowing and trimming of lawn. Paints surfaces such as walls, doors, and other surfaces as required. Moves furniture, equipment, etc when necessary. Performs janitorial duties in maintaining buildings and adjacent areas. Performs other duties as assigned.
