Job Description

Performs general labor and maintenance work to enhance public works operations. Starting pay $19.4342/hr. Provided benefits include but are not limited to: Health insurance Group life insurance Wellness program CERS retirement through Kentucky Retirement Systems Paid time off includes: Vacation Sick time Holidays (for eligible employees) Duties include, but are not limited to: Cleans and cuts drainage ditches by mowing, trimming grass, tree/limb/debris removal, drainage work, removing trash, weeding, etc. Performs routine and preventative maintenance on streets, street signs, property, facilities, stormwater drainage ways, and/or equipment to ensure proper condition Drives and operates various vehicles and equipment Performs snow and water removal
QUALIFICATIONS
(Required at time of application : High school diploma or
GED OR 3
months of experience as Laborer or similar position ( equipment operations preferred ) Valid driver's license Valid CDL, Class B or higher, required within 11 months of employment Equivalent amount of education and/or experience is acceptable.
