Maintenance and Operation Job Summary Big Sandy Community & Technical College is seeking 3 Part-time Facilities Workers at our Prestonsburg Campus. Shifts are 9:00-1:00 and 2:00-6:00.

Job Duties:

Maintains grounds to insure the proper time to care for plants, water, reseeds all landscape and grounds plantings such as grass, trees, shrubs and flowers. Maintains related landscaping and grounds maintenance equipment. Mows, weed- eats/edges, and removes snow utilizing mowing machines and other equipment. Order and pick up supplies as needed. Performs room set-up for events, assembles and delivers furniture, and moves and/or hauls equipment/furniture as needed. Includes custodial work as needed such as cleaning, disinfecting, floor maintenance, and trash disposal. Assists with routine maintenance on campus. May have to travel to assist at other campuses or work other shifts as needed. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED Preferred Qualifications:

1 to 2 years Experience Preferred.
