The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities by performing a variety of maintenance tasks. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, facilities maintenance, and the ability to troubleshoot and repair various equipment. The Maintenance Person will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and efficient working environment. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and maintenance on electrical systems and equipment. Troubleshoot and repair issues related to logic controllers and other automated systems. Fabricate components as needed to support maintenance operations. Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and troubleshooting procedures. Utilize tools such as an ohmmeter for testing electrical circuits and components. Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols. Provide excellent customer service when interacting with staff or external vendors. Supervise junior maintenance staff, providing guidance and leadership as necessary. Perform welding tasks when required for repairs or fabrication projects. Skills Strong knowledge of electrical systems and facilities maintenance practices. Painting. Experience with logic controllers and troubleshooting automated systems. Ability to fabricate parts using various materials and tools. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on teamwork and communication. Leadership capabilities to supervise and mentor less experienced staff members. Familiarity with using an ohmmeter and other diagnostic tools effectively. Welding skills are a plus, enhancing the ability to perform repairs as needed.
