Job Description

WESTAFF is hiring 3 Temporary Maintenance Helpers in Lafayette, LA !
Pay:
$15/hour
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00
PM Qualifications:
Maintenance, construction, or repair experience preferred. Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting repairs. Ability to use hand and power tools safely. Must be able to lift, bend, climb, and perform physical work. Dependable, safety-conscious, and detail-oriented
Job Responsibilities:
Perform routine and emergency maintenance repairs on housing units and properties Complete basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, drywall, flooring, and roofing repairs Install and repair doors, locks, windows, cabinets, countertops, and fixtures Conduct unit inspections and assist with HUD-required audits and inspections Complete work orders and prepare vacant units for new tenants Assist with pest control and extermination efforts Coordinate with vendors and maintain repair material inventory Follow all safety regulations and wear required PPE Identify and report health and safety hazards Qualified candidates, APPLY TODAY!
