Job Skills Works closely with and follows directions from the Maintenance Director. Maintains building and grounds in a clean, safe, and orderly condition. Maintains and repairs basic functions of the center as determined by the Maintenance Director. Takes care of the tools and equipment. Makes minor repairs on handrails, windows, flooring, walls, ceilings, beds, wheelchairs, geri-chairs, electrical equipment, sprinkling systems, generators, emergency lighting, fire alarms and extinguishers, changes filters on HVAC equipment, carriers, lifts, and stocks supplies. Assumes supervisor's responsibilities in his/her absence. Puts customer service first. Performs other duties as requested. Qualifications High School degree or GED and basic knowledge of wiring, plumbing, and carpentry. Ability to comply with HIPAA laws. This position requires that the employee is able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language. Comply with all vaccination and testing requirements as required by state and federal regulations.
