Teen Mother Baby Program :

Providing pregnant and parenting young women, age 13 to 21 years old, with a safe and supportive place to prepare for motherhood, continue their education, and pave a path toward a family supporting career.

Supportive & Transitional Housing Program :

Helping single-mother families move from homelessness to independence by addressing the root causes of their instability and guiding them toward a family-supporting career.

Clinical and Social Work Services :

Helping residents and their families stabilize by providing clinical and social work services to improve their mental, emotional and behavioral health. The Maintenance Worker is responsible for carrying out the duties and responsibilities outlined below.

Description of Duties:

Conduct routine inspections of buildings, systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC), and equipment to identify and address issues. Inspect and diagnose problems in building systems, equipment, and grounds, and determine the best course of corrective action. Respond to and resolve maintenance requests and work orders in a timely manner. Conduct minor plumbing repairs and installations, such as fixing leaks, unclogging drains, and replacing fixtures. Maintains and checks compressors for pneumatic controls and oversees the boiler room when the Maintenance Supervisor is absent Drives agency vehicles to collect maintenance supplies and equipment. Perform general repairs, such as fixing broken locks, repairing drywall, replacing light bulbs, and fixing leaks. Complete preventative maintenance tasks to ensure equipment and machinery are in good working order. Perform minor carpentry and painting tasks, such as building shelves, repairing furniture, and painting walls. Follows maintenance schedule for lubricating pumps and motors. Cleans air handler units and filters Performs semi-skilled maintenance work not requiring the services of a skilled craftsman. Troubleshoot issues with various systems and equipment to determine the root cause of a problem. Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and fix issues Diagnose mechanical issues and make necessary corrections. Ensure the building interior and exterior are well-maintained Perform minor construction tasks such as carpentry, painting, and drywall repair. Maintain landscaping and ensure that grounds are clean and presentable. Work closely with other maintenance staff, facility managers, and professionals during renovations or major repairs. Responding to maintenance requests from staff, communicating updates on progress and resolution. Oversee contractors when professional repairs are necessary. Maintain a safe and clean work environment and ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations Keep accurate records of all maintenance activities, including tasks performed and materials used. Ensure all maintenance records and documentation are accurate and accessible for audits and inspections. Report any safety hazards or maintenance issues to management. Follow all safety rules and protocols, including using appropriate safety gear. Participate in Performance and Quality Improvement (PQI) process by collecting and analyzing outcome data, suggesting program enhancements, and implementing identified programmatic changes as necessary. Adhere to all safety protocol and procedures, including Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards
