The Williamsport Health & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled Facilities Maintenance Assistant to join our team! As a critical member of our maintenance staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our rehabilitation center's facilities, equipment, and grounds. If you are passionate about providing exceptional care and maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients and staff, we encourage you to apply for this full-time opportunity.

Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance tasks such as painting, repairing, and replacing fixtures, furniture, and equipmentClean and disinfect facilities, including bathrooms, patient rooms, and common areasAssist with groundskeeping, including lawn care, landscaping, and snow removal as neededMaintain and repair mechanical systems, including plumbing, HVAC, and electrical systemsCollaborate with other maintenance personnel to identify and prioritize tasksRespond to maintenance requests from healthcare professionals and patientsEnsure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required1-2 years of experience in facilities maintenance, preferably in a healthcare settingAbility to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical labor as neededStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamBasic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skillsHow to :
