Overview We are seeking a dependable, motivated, and hardworking individual to join our Public Works team. This position plays an essential role in maintaining Town infrastructure, municipal facilities, streets, sidewalks, parks, and utility systems. This role offers the opportunity to perform a variety of hands-on tasks while contributing directly to the safety and appearance of the community. Duties Perform mowing, trimming, mulching, planting, weed removal, and general landscaping duties Maintain parks, grounds, and municipal facilities Perform custodial duties including cleaning and upkeep of Town buildings Operate hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment safely Assist with road repairs, pothole patching, street painting, and roadway improvements Support water and electric utilities Complete painting projects for Town facilities and infrastructure Assist with carpentry, concrete work, framing, and small construction projects Participate in bulk pickup operations and other collection activities Operate Town vehicles and equipment safely Respond to weather-related emergencies and other Public Works needs Qualifications Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record Ability to perform physically demanding work and lift up to 75 pounds Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Ability to safely operate tools, equipment, and machinery Strong work ethic and reliability Ability to follow verbal and written instructions If you are interested in this role APPLY TODAY or call us at 301-739-4567
