The purpose of this position is to provide, maintain, or procure maintenance for all utilities, equipment, buildings and grounds for a safe and pleasant environment.
Responsibilities :
Lawn, garden, snow removal and all other ground work. Be able to complete work orders and communicate status. Do preventive maintenance on equipment as assigned. To assist in all moves and changes as departments need them. MSDS Review and interpretation. Miscellaneous repair to any of hospital buildings, equipment and/or grounds. Initiate contractors for repairs outside of your expertise. Security as assigned. Maintain a safe environment which includes knowing and understanding hospital and departmental policies and procedures. Report and directly address identified environmental hazards when appropriate. Report and directly address violations of patient safety policy and/or protocol when involved or observed. Other duties as requested by Director.
