Job Description
Facility Inspector (Full-Time) Multiple Locations - Sanford, Sanford Airport, Springvale, Kennebunk | All Purpose Storage About Us All Purpose Storage (APS) is a locally owned and rapidly growing self-storage company dedicated to keeping our facilities clean, safe, and welcoming for our customers. We're looking for a detail-oriented, hands-on Facility Inspector to join our team full-time. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, staying active, and taking pride in maintaining properties to professional standards. What You'll Do As a Facility Inspector, you'll be the eyes and ears on-site, making sure our storage facilities are secure, rent-ready, and up to APS brand standards.
Typical responsibilities include:
Conducting unit inventories twice weekly (reporting rent-ready, locked, or non-rentable units). Preparing and cleaning newly vacated units to meet rent-ready standards. Performing light maintenance such as latch replacement, troubleshooting gates, cameras, or internet, and hanging small signage. Completing property walkthroughs : picking up trash, pulling weeds, reporting suspicious activity, and keeping grounds neat. Submitting weekly reports with photos for accurate documentation. Supporting seasonal tasks such as pest control setup, exterior cleaning, gutter maintenance, and gate lubrication. Meeting with customers, vendors, and contractors as assigned. What We're Looking For Strong attention to detail and pride in keeping spaces clean and safe. Ability to use hand tools for light maintenance. Reliable, self-motivated, and independent —able to manage your own schedule. Physical ability to walk large facilities, lift/move up to 50 lbs, and work in varying weather conditions. Comfortable using smartphones, tablets, and apps for reporting. Clear communication skills to interact with team members, vendors, and customers. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (required).Compensation & Benefits Pay:
