JOB DETAILS
RN-Psych jobs at the facility in Sanford, ME let you care for adults experiencing acute psychiatric crises in a 40-bed, locked inpatient behavioral health unit. You will assess, plan, and implement care for patients ages 18 to 95, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team and documenting in electronic medical record (EMR) systems. You must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing, hold an active Maine RN license (New Hampshire RN licenses are also accepted), and have current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or obtain it within 30 days of hire. At least 1 year of RN experience is required, with demonstrated competency in acute care nursing. Recommended skills include strong clinical assessment, crisis intervention, and teamwork abilities. Experience with addiction-related problems and major mental illnesses is preferred.
