Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Lodging Maintenance Technician, where your expertise will ensure the safety, functionality, and comfort of our lodging facilities. You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing lodging properties on behalf of the resort and the homeowners, ensuring all systems operate smoothly to provide an exceptional experience for our guests, staff, and owners alike. Your proactive approach and technical proficiency will be key in creating a safe, welcoming, and well-maintained environment. Duties Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance. Utilize hand tools and electrical equipment repair techniques to address maintenance needs efficiently. Lead minor renovation projects such as painting, drywall repairs, or interior upgrades to enhance the lodging environment. Document all maintenance activities clearly and accurately in logs; Respond promptly to guest or staff maintenance requests with excellent customer service skills. Ensure compliance with safety standards during all repair activities; operate facilities maintenance equipment safely. Assist in training team members on basic maintenance procedures when needed to foster a collaborative work environment. Qualifications Proven experience in maintenance or related roles with knowledge of building upkeep. Ability to perform maintenance painting and general repairs efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality. Excellent communication skills in English; capable of providing clear instructions and documentation. Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Work Environment & Schedule Indoor and outdoor work with ladders, tools, lifting, weather exposure, and on-call needs.
