Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Farm Hand to join our agricultural team. We are also looking for a Maintenance Tech for our property management. 50% Farmhand and 50% Maintenance Man. The ideal candidate will have a passion for farming and a strong understanding of equipment operation, and maintenance. This role is essential in supporting daily farm operations, ensuring the well-being of vines and maintaining farm machinery. Responsibilities Operate and maintain various types of farm machinery and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on farm equipment, including welding and using power tools. Work with the team as needed to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and safely. Participate in planting, growing, and harvesting crops while adhering to agricultural best practices. Manage irrigation systems to ensure optimal water supply for crops. Utilize hand tools and heavy equipment for various farming tasks. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the farm facilities and equipment. Repair Plumbing, Electrical and HVAC Issues at Properties Turn Apartments as necessary Experience Previous experience in farming or agriculture is preferred. Supervising experience is a plus for overseeing team members. Mechanical knowledge related to farm machinery operation and repair is essential. Experience with horticulture or greenhouse operations is beneficial. Ability to perform heavy lifting and operate heavy equipment safely. Knowledge of irrigation systems and their maintenance is an asset.
