Job Description

Maintenance Specialist Position Details Day Shift Scheduled Monday - Friday Part Time - 16 hours per week Some On-Call Availability for

Dental, and Vision Insurance Options Colonial Life Supplemental Insurance Options Paid Time Off (PTO) Responsibilities include: Performing routine maintenance and repairs Responding to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner Maintaining building systems, including plumbing, heating, and basic electrical components Assisting with carpentry, groundskeeping, painting, and general facility upkeep Conducting preventative maintenance to help avoid costly repairs Ensuring all buildings, equipment, and grounds are maintained to Brook standards Interacting professionally and respectfully with residents, visitors, and team members Qualifications Has experience or working knowledge of plumbing, heating, carpentry, and grounds maintenance Is self-motivated and able to work independently Demonstrates strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Has a positive attitude and excellent customer service skills Enjoys working with and supporting older adults Has reliable transportation and is willing to travel between locations Is at least 18 years of age Can successfully pass a criminal background check The Brook Retirement Communities is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE).
