Job Description

Job Summary The Maintenance Employee is responsible for maintaining clean, safe, and well-presented parking facilities through janitorial, maintenance, groundskeeping, snow removal, and parking enforcement activities. This position performs routine cleaning, facility inspections, minor repairs, landscaping, and enforcement duties while providing a positive experience for customers and visitors.
Schedule:
Tuesday - Saturday, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM Essential Functions Perform routine cleaning and housekeeping of parking garages, surface lots, stairwells, elevators, walkways, and common areas. Empty trash receptacles, remove litter and debris, replenish restroom supplies, and maintain facility cleanliness using approved cleaning products and equipment. Conduct regular inspections of parking facilities, identifying and addressing cleanliness, maintenance, and safety concerns. Perform snow and ice removal, including shoveling, scraping, and applying de-icing materials to maintain safe conditions. Assist with landscaping and other seasonal maintenance projects. Respond promptly to radio calls, customer concerns, elevator issues, and operational requests. Conduct parking enforcement activities during evening hours, including monitoring parking facilities, enforcing parking regulations, issuing citations when necessary, and assisting customers with parking-related questions. Perform parking facility counts, complete assigned reports, and maintain accurate records. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Previous janitorial, maintenance, custodial, groundskeeping preferred. Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding work, including walking, climbing stairs, bending, and working outdoors in various weather conditions. Valid driver's license preferred but not required.
