Responsibilities:

• Fabricate and install structural steel components according to blueprints and specifications
• Solder or weld metal parts together using various tools and techniques
• Install and repair ductwork for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems
• Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards
• Use mechanical knowledge to interpret schematics and technical drawings
• Rig and hoist heavy materials and equipment into place
• Perform pipe threading and installation for plumbing systems
• Build and assemble metal structures such as bridges, buildings, and towers
• Operate forklifts and other heavy machinery as needed

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as an ironworker or in a related field is preferred
• Strong knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and tools
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• Proficiency in soldering, welding, and fabricating metal components
• Familiarity with building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards
• Physical strength and stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
